Beach

A 900 m path leads directly from ALTAIR to the Alimini beach.
The road passes through the dense pine forest to the sound of cicadas singing until it reaches one of the most beautiful beaches in Apulia.
From here, a wide expanse of fine sand washed by a crystal-clear sea opens up. When it turns black, the remains of the ancient Vulture volcano resurface, painting the sand with its dark minerals. The seabed slopes gently downwards, making the beach accessible and safe for everyone, even children. Along the beach are numerous lidos offering typical cuisine, drinks and a magnificent panorama.
Sun and sea air are inexhaustible sources of health and well-being for the body. Breathing in iodine helps the mood and stimulates the interaction between the lungs and the circulatory system. The warm rays of the sun help improve the beauty of the skin and strengthen the bones, stimulating the production of vitamin D. Even the black sand in the hottest hours hides an ancient elixir secret: psammatotherapy.
